Grass-Fed Beef

Pasture raised beef is a healthy, more naturally raised choice.  Grass-fed beef has more omega-3 fatty acids, more vitamin E, more CLA, fewer types of saturated fat linked with heart disease, less overall fat, and fewer calories than commercial feedlot beef.

To keep your grass-fed beef tender you need to cook it more slowly.  Do not allow it to cook too long or it can become tough and dry. A slow cooker (crock-pot) is a good way to cook certain cuts.  Start it in the morning and have a ready to eat meal when you get home from work.  Grass-fed hamburger is another way to enjoy the flavors of pasture raised beef without having to worry about how to cook it.

 

 

The package prices you see here are a portrait of the estimated total.  The Illinois sales tax and $0.25 per pound delivery fee is not included in the estimate.  We charge by the pound not package, unless otherwise stated!  We use the highest poundage for the weight estimates to help with sticker shock at pickup or delivery.
