Oven Beef Stew

1 1/2 lb. - beef stew meat

1 - onion, diced

4 stalks - celery, in pieces

5 - carrots, cut in chunks

8 - medium potatoes, cut in chunks

2 teaspoons - salt

1 tablespoon - sugar

4 tablespoons - Minute tapioca

1 cup - water

2 cups - tomato juice


Place meat in 9x13 inch dish. Place vegetables over all. Mix salt, sugar, juice, tapioca, and water in bowl. Pour over meat and vegetables. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 325° for 4 hours.
