SUNFLOWER MAZE UPDATE - FRIDAY, JULY 20

The blooms in first planting of the maze continue to wilt and lose color, but those in the second continue to open! The second planting isn't in full bloom, but it will probably reach that stage early next week. We are open today from 10 to 6, but running with the reduced operation again and a $2.50 admission price.

Since the second planting is beginning to bloom, the tractor and wagon shuttle will be returning tomorrow (July 21) and the admission fee will once again be $5 with kids five and under free.

There are multiple chances for showers and thunderstorms over the next few days here on the farm. You can see if the maze is under a weather delay by checking our Facebook and Twitter pages.

- WEATHER FORECAST -

High: 86     |     Peak Heat Index: 91

Conditions: Partly sunny. Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. West wind 14 to 17 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.

*Some afternoon thunderstorms could be severe. Please stay weather aware if you visit the farm this afternoon.*

- DAILY SUNFLOWER MAZE PICTURE -

Note: Our daily pictures will now be from the second section of the sunflower maze since the first one has wilted.

I have a friend coming in from Minnesota that LOVES sunflowers, she will be here July 24th, do you think there will still be something to see at that time?

Hello Sue, we are really hoping that our second sunflower field will be blooming at that time. Keep checking this page though! We'll make sure you know how the fields are looking before you come.

Was planning a trip that way this Friday, July 20th. Do you think the second planting will be in bloom then?

April, this Friday may be a little too soon for the sunflowers. We are hoping that the second field will be blooming by this weekend. Keep checking this page though so you can get the best idea of when to come!
